Global Investment & Insurance was founded on 27th December 2014 in Mapusa, Goa, with a simple objective: to give individuals, families and businesses in Goa access to disciplined, rule-based financial planning instead of one-off product selling. Over the years, our office at Buildmore Business Park, Khorlim, Mapusa has become a trusted point of contact for clients across North Goa seeking clarity on investments, mutual funds, life insurance, health insurance, general insurance and long-term wealth structuring. Today that trust shows in the numbers: over 2,000 satisfied clients, 900+ families served, and more than 10,000 policies placed, supported by a professional team of 6 advisors working from two offices — Mapusa and Colvale — with every investment and insurance service available under one roof at both.

Our Leadership

Global Investment & Insurance is led by Sachin G Vengurlekar, Founder & Managing Director, and Sushma S Vengurlekar, Director – Operations & Client Service. Between them, our leadership sets the firm’s strategic direction and its day-to-day standard of care: deciding which investment and insurance products the firm focuses on, building and mentoring the wider team of advisors, developing relationships with AMCs, insurance companies and other financial institutions, and leading key client relationships and new business — while also making sure every client’s documentation, transactions, renewals and service requests are tracked, followed up on and completed on time. It is this combination of clear strategic direction and hands-on operational discipline that allows Global Investment & Insurance to maintain the same dependable, rule-based standard of service across both our Mapusa and Colvale offices.

Our Philosophy

Financial markets can be unpredictable, but the process used to invest in them does not have to be. We built Global Investment & Insurance around the idea that a written, rule-based framework for investing — covering when to enter, when to review, and how to rebalance — removes emotion from decision-making and helps our Goa-based clients stay committed to their goals through market cycles. This same discipline extends to how we assess insurance needs: rather than selling a single policy, we map out life, health and general insurance requirements methodically against each client’s actual exposure.

What We Do

Our advisory work spans six areas. We help Goan families plan for a child’s education fund and marriage fund, and help working professionals plan retirement and pension income, including structured concepts like the Virtual Property Concept and FD on EMI. We advise on mutual fund instruments such as SIP, SWP and NPS. On the protection side, we arrange life insurance, Keyman insurance for business owners, salary insurance, and employer-employee insurance schemes. We also place health insurance covers including Mediclaim, personal accident policies, and group policies (GPA and group personal accident) for companies based in Goa. For shop owners, hoteliers, transporters and traders across Mapusa and greater Goa, we arrange general insurance — fire, burglary, marine, vehicle, cyber, workmen’s compensation and commercial liability cover. Finally, we support business owners with risk management, business exit planning, income continuity planning, estate creation, wealth transfer to the next generation, and non-attachable trust structuring.
